Muscat
‘Al
Omania Education Services Company LLC’ (also known as Iskan Knowledge)
recently acquired the prestigious
Azzan Bin Qais Private School (ABQ).
ABQ is a 20 year old school with an excellent reputation for quality
education and
known
for high academic results of its students. Iskan Knowledge has further
funded expansion of ABQ infrastructure and educational facilities,
adding new science labs, upgrading of the library, Olympic-size swimming
pool and more classrooms among other things. ABQ imparts international
quality education leading to international as well as national
certification.
The academic year was concluded with the graduation ceremony for grade
12 students. The ceremony was held for the first time ever in the
history of ABQ outside the school premises at the ballroom of Golden
Tulip on June 20th. The same was a success and appreciated by the
parents. Mrs. Aisha Ahmed (the Director of Private Schools) at the
Ministry of Education was invited as a guest of honor.

Mr. Danny Harrison has joined
as the new School Principal for Azzan bin Qais International School.

The school has also
successfully replaced 80% of the non continuing staff for the academic
year 2010-2011.
Student Body
The academic year 2009/2010 has been a transitional year for Azzan Bin
Qais International School. The student numbers for the next academic
year seem to be comforting, as of August 28th, the total student body is
700.
For the academic year 2010-2011 the school has planned for various new
facilities.
